The former president's Family Member Seeks Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for significant competition

This young athlete boasts considerable social media presence

Kai Trump will have multiple well-known backers when she starts her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to a former US president, was granted a tournament invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, possesses several international courses and often matches against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we play tight competitions," she mentioned.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"He essentially told me to go out there and have fun," she added.

"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with world affairs, so he's quite busy."

While still amateur, the golfer has participated in a mere three competitions in 2024 and has ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

But she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He is the top athlete globally," Kai expressed.

"And he's a more impressive person. He suggested me to go out there, have fun, and go with the flow."

She'll challenge multiple the biggest names in the sport at this tournament, such as world number two the champion, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that her participation exposes the sport to different demographics, specifically reaching youth audiences.

The social media influencer has millions of followers and just introduced an exclusive fashion and living company.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
