One female individual has been arrested following medical gas supplies were allegedly sabotaged at a pair of metropolitan hospitals.

Sutherland Hospital in the city's southern suburbs lost critical gas supplies on Tuesday morning, forcing staff to transition to mobile gas alternatives as part of their contingency plans, as stated by medical authorities.
"The cause behind the disruption of gases appears to be deliberate sabotage," authorities stated.
Officials stressed that "{To reportedly commit such acts represents extreme recklessness. It could have been disastrous outcomes."
Police Investigation
NSW police said they received reports of "suspected intentional damage at two hospitals in Caringbah." It's understood that the second location was a local private medical center.
Police alleged a 42-year-old woman entered the grounds of a medical facility on Kareena Road at approximately 12:20 AM on Tuesday and "severed utility lines, then turning on emergency water systems."
Investigators additionally claim that at about early morning, "the woman entered the grounds of another hospital on Kareena Road ... and reportedly switched off the primary gas supply."
The individual was apprehended in the Miranda area at approximately 4:00 AM on Tuesday for violating bail conditions, police confirmed.
Medical Facility Recovery
Health officials stated that medical gas supplies were returned to operation by hospital teams and local health district "within approximately two hours."
"Let me reassure the community patient care was not affected to medical services and that the system has returned to operating according to standard procedures," authorities stated.
Officials further noted that "Access to gas systems in public medical facilities is limited to authorized personnel. An investigation will examine the situation to see what improvements can be put in place."
Officials disclosed that the suspect allegedly scaled a wall at Sutherland hospital and entered to a restricted area.
