Chopper Spirals Wildly into Palm Trees at Frequented California Beach
A chopper flying near a crowded southern California beach unexpectedly began spiraling uncontrollably, eventually dropping height and crashing into a row of palm trees as onlookers looked on.
Recordings shared on social media show the chopper commencing to spiral over the shoreline then descending in the direction of the perimeter of the shore, where it gets stuck between palm groves and a set of stairs adjacent to the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Information
Emergency responders reported five persons were rushed to the hospital including a pair who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the incident on the weekend.
Three people on the street were harmed. Information on their condition were still under review.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.

Authorities said the chopper was associated with an regular “Cars N Copters” charity gathering planned for Sunday.
